PETER JACKSON

Managing Director

Peter is a descendant of the Mandandanji and Gunggarri Traditional Custodians from the Roma and Mitchell areas of southwest QLD. Peter has worked for various organisations as an engagement officer with the National Disability Insurance Agency, Department of Aboriginal Torres Strait Islander Partnerships, and more recently as a mentor for Indigenous apprenticeships and trainees. He also been volunteering for not-for-profit organisations as a recognised community leader.


Peter has made a considerable contribution to the southwest region, most notably as chair of the Southwest Indigenous Network (SWIN) for more than a decade and more recently as the deputy chair for the Queensland Aboriginal & Torres Strait Islander Cricket Advisory Committee. Passionate about Indigenous employment, training and mentoring, he sees the benefits of building partnerships with the Indigenous communities. 


Peter’s personal commitment over a lifetime of work, and that of the Mandana Team, is to achieve a high standard of Indigenous participation within the Resource, Renewables and Construction sectors across Queensland.

DANIELLE BROTHERTON

     Business Administration Officer


Danielle was born and raised in Toowoomba, after graduating year 12 in 2020. Once completing school, Danielle took the time to learn about several occupations, gaining experience in bartending and dental assisting. Prior to joining the Mandana team, Danielle worked for ANZ Bank for the previous 12 months as a banking consultant, offering financial assistance and personal loan opportunities. Danielle came onboard with the Mandana team to help with all administrative tasks.



She is currently pursuing a Certificate IV in Accounting and Bookkeeping with the goal of using her knowledge to one day to take on the role of Mandana's Business Manager.



Danielle is enthusiastic about deepening her understanding of the different sectors in which Mandana is currently working. She looks forward to helping Mandana provide culturally appropriate employment, recruitment services for First Nations people and the companies who employ them. Danielle is excited to help deliver a high-quality service for First Nations peoples who want to learn new skills and build rewarding careers.
